Vlasova N. Regional specificity of social management of physical culture and sports (on the example of Zaporizhzhya region)

The dissertation is devoted to a sociological study of specific features of social management of physical culture and sports in the region (on the example of Zaporizhzhya region). The specificity of physical culture and sport as a social system is substantiated. It is determined that physical culture and sports in the modern society acts, on the one hand, as a social institution, and on the other – as an object of social management, the institutional form of which is the provision of various sports and sports services through the system of public, public and private organizations, institutions and institutions of physical culture and sports. There are two groups of criteria (specific and specific) for assessing the social effectiveness of regional management of physical culture and sports. The system-activity model of social management of physical culture and sports at the regional level in the context of decentralization, regionalization and optimization of state-public management of this field is proposed.
