Essay

The dissertation is devoted to solving the problem of ensuring the environmental safety of atmospheric air for the environment and human health, by reducing the emissions of organic PM2,5 and PM10 confectionery enterprises. Specific indicators of emissions of organic PM10 and PM2.5 confectionery enterprises and conversion factors for PM10 and PM2.5 were established. Regression equations for the percentage of particulate matter in the emissions were obtained. Their characteristics, specific indicators of indirect emissions of greenhouse gases are defined. The features of scattering and concentration in surface air of individual components (cocoa, sugar, starch and flour) of finely dispersed dust of a confectionery enterprise by means of three independent methods (indirect – microscopy of snow and measurement of its COD, mathematical modeling) are determined. The boundary of an ecologically safe zone is at a distance of 289 m from the source of emissions. The charge of organic solid particles. The influence of ionization parameters (nature and size, concentration of organic PM to ionization, flow rate, intensity of negatively charged ions emission) on the efficiency of preliminary purification of emissions have been established. It has been shown that ionization allows to reduce the concentration of organic solid particles in the atmosphere in the territories outside the sanitary protection area of confectionery enterprises to the normative-acceptable level.
