Shelekhan G. Improvement of the interaction technology between base cargo sorting stations and port cargo stations and seaports

The purpose of the dissertation is to improve the technology of cars carriage in the port railway junctions. The object of the research is the process of handling cars at port railway junction. The research was carried out using system approach and with the application of mathematical, simulation modeling and regression methods. To solve the problem of minimization of operating costs for the cars processing, taking into account the priority of its processing, a complex of related optimization models has been built to determine the structural and technological parameters of cars processing at the stations of the port railway junction that can be integrated into the automated working place of shunting dispatcher in marshalling yard.
