Essay

The object of the study is the process of video sharing in fiber optic telemedicine networks. The purpose of the study is to increase the efficiency of the exchange of medical video images in the fiber-optic telemedicine network by developing its structure, model and construction methods. Research methods: system analysis (to substantiate the scientific, methodological and informational aspects of building an information telemedicine network); the bibliosemantic method (to study national and world content regarding experience and scientific approaches to solving the problem under study); information modeling method (to develop information models and methods); methods of biotechnical systems theory (for development of functional circuits and information network architecture); methods of algorithmization of construction of databases and knowledge (for the development of algorithmic software, databases and knowledge); medical-statistical method (for collecting, processing and analysis of the received statistical information at the stages of the dissertation research). Theoretical results: for the first time, for the fiber-optic channels of telemedicine networks with speeds up to 150 Mbps, the method of modulation of a modular composition with high noise immunity and additional protection against unauthorized access is proposed; for the first time a model of the information transmission process in the fiber-optic tract of the telemedicine network is developed, which determines the optical losses and the dispersion of the signal in the fiber-optic environment, compensates for them and generates a signal capable, depending on the type of fiber, to overcome the maximum distance with minimal time distortions and losses ; further developed the method of two-wave transmission of medical digital data by presenting a digital logical signal with an optical pulse simultaneously at two wavelengths; further developed an approach to creating a fiber telemedicine network for the exchange of medical video images in DICOM 3.0, obtained from various types of medical equipment for radiodiagnosis and telemedicine centers, which allowed to define the information space of the network as a complex hierarchical environment in which each level is characterized by its own level , software and hardware to process and interpret the information received. The practical results are the development of the structural and functional organization of the telemedicine system in the form of a set of three basic resources: hardware, analytical and information, represented by hardware-software, information modules; a fiber-optic telemedicine network has been proposed to allow the exchange of operational results of telemedicine diagnostics and monitoring of patients' health status through optical communication channels between remote areas and the regional center. Degree of implementation - the results were implemented in the practical activity of the Odessa Regional Center for Telemedicine at the Odessa Regional Clinical Hospital, which increased the reliability and improved the quality of transmission of biomedical information; into the educational process of Vinnytsia National Technical University in the teaching of relevant disciplines. Sphere (field) of use - medicine.
