Svirska S. Pharmacognostic investigation of Anchusa genus species

Object – the complex pharmacognostic investigation of Anchusa genus species, substances and drug based on them; aim – pharmacognostic investigation of Anchusa genus species, development of methods for standardization of raw materials and the confirmation of the possibility to obtain drugs on their basis; methods – morphological, anatomical, chromatographic, spectrophotometric, titrimetric, gravimetric, microbiological, pharmacological, statistical; novelty – the complex phytochemical investigation of Anchusa officinalis L. and Anchusa procera Bess. was conducted and the composition and quantitative content of the basic biologically active substances were determined, the raw stocks were studied and the characteristic morphological and anatomical diagnostic features of the above-ground organs of the species were determined, the numerical parameters of the quality of Anchusa officinalis L. herb were worked out; results – the possibility of using of Anchusa officinalis L. herb as the new medicinal plant raw materials was proved, extracts of Anchusa officinalis L. herb were obtained, ointment with this extract was developed and their pharmacological activity were investigated, Methods of quality control «Anchusa officinalis L. herb» and «Anchusa officinalis L. herb dry extract», іnstruction on harvesting and drying of Anchusa officinalis L. herb were developed; introduced – in the educational and scientific processes of higher educational institutions and practical work of LTD "Fitolik" and the testing center of SE "Ivano-Frankivskstandartmetrologiya"; branch – pharmacy.
