Moskovchuk N. The training of future foreign specialists majoring in technical specialities in the Ukrainian language

The theoretical analysis of the problem under study, substantiation and approbation results of the proposed pedagogical conditions and methods for the training aimed at future foreign specialists majoring in technical specialities in the Ukrainian language is presented in the thesis. For the first time the pedagogical conditions for the formation of the Ukrainian professional and communicative competence of the future foreign specialists majoring in technical specialties have been determined (adaptational-pedagogical support of foreign students within the educational space of Ukraine; providing foreign students majoring in technical specialties with positive motivation to study profession-oriented Ukrainian; presence of the developing Ukrainian communicative environment for foreign students majoring in a technical profile; involvement of foreign students into active profession-oriented Ukrainian speaking); the essence and structure of the phenomena: “the training of future foreign specialists majoring in technical specialties in the Ukrainian language”, “Ukrainian professional and communicative competence of future foreign specialists majoring in technical specialties” have been defined and proved; the criteria for evaluating (evaluative criteria) proficiency levels of the Ukrainian professional and communicative competence demonstrated by the future foreign specialists majoring in technical specialties (adaptational, motivational, linguistic, reflexive and evaluative) with the corresponding indicators have been defined; the proficiency levels of the Ukrainian professional and communicative competence of the future foreign specialists majoring in technical specialties have been characterised (high, satisfactory, low).A model of the training intended for future foreign specialists majoring in technical specialties has been elaborated. It aimed at forming the Ukrainian professional communicative competence of the future foreign specialists majoring in technical specialties. The model covered four stages (propaedeutic and speech-centred, speech enlarging, reproductive and activity-based, reflexive and evaluative stages) within which the designated pedagogical conditions were implemented gradually. The concepts of "professional broadcasting", "vocational training", "competence", "competence" have been specified.
