Essay

The purpose of the study was to research clinical and psychological manifestations, and to identify the individual psychological and family determinants of psychological maladaptation in adolescents - representatives of youth subcultures, and to develop on this basis a program of psychological correction. Using clinical-psychological and psychodiagnostic methods, 143 adolescents of 14 to 18 years old were surveyed, of which 93 respondents were representatives of youth subcultures (45 supporters of search for new physical impressions, based on extreme motor activity and 48 supporters of virtuous who depth themselves in computer technology, mostly online games), and 50 regular teens. It has been proved that belonging to the youth subculture is not a marker of psychological maladaptation. But psychological maladaptation of such persons by social, psychological and psycho-emotional descriptors and personal, behavioral and family determinants differs from that of ordinary adolescents. It is substantiated that psychological maladaptation in the representatives of youth subcultures is a holistic multidimensional construct consisting of social-psychological, psycho-emotional, personal, behavioral and family components, whose discrete or total lesion determines the form of its clinical and psychological manifestations. Based on the obtained data, a program of psychocorrection of psychological maladaptation of representatives of youth subcultures of adolescence was created, which proved its effectiveness.
