DROHOMYRETSKA N. Optimization of treatment of chronic inflammatory processes of the reproductive system in women with varicose veins of the lesser pelvis

Chronic inflammatory processes of the internal genital organs are often combined with varicose veins of the lesser pelvis, which greatly aggravates the course of each of these pathologies. The aim of the work was to optimize the approaches to the treatment-prophylactic program in women with chronic inflammatory processes of the reproductive system against the background of varicose veins of the lesser pelvis by the improvement of the diagnostic algorithm and development of the pathogenetically substantiated medical complex. The duration of pain history over three years was in 66,2 % of women with chronic inflammatory processes of the internal genitalia against the background of varicose veins of the pelvis, which caused resistance to traditional methods of treatment in this group of patients. In women with chronic inflammatory processes of the internal genital organs with varicose veins of the lessere pelvis, there was a 1,5-fold increase of endothelin-1 production and a 1,3-fold decrease of prostacycline synthesis, in women with isolated chronic inflammatory processes of the internal genital organs 1,3- and 1,1-fold respectively.
