Essay

The thesis has solved the scientific and practical problem of resource conservation of wood raw materials due to the use of pine deadwood as a structural material, and developed a simulation model for predicting the durability of structural elements of solid pinewood, according on their size and loads. For practical realization of research results, an algorithm has been developed for simulation model of predicting the durability of pinewood (from non-attenuated and drying out trees) structural elements under normal conditions of operation depending on their size, density, characteristics of the macroscopic structure of the wood and load value. This algorithm is based on performing tests directly in the technological process of manufacturing structural lumber. The recommendations for the determination of the durability and rational dimensions of pine deadwood structural elements are presented to the manufacturers of structural lumber, which were implemented at two sawmills and woodworking enterprises.
