Essay

This thesis is devoted to the solution of the scientific and practical problem of reducing the material intensity of structures from a wood-fiber density plate at the expense of forecasting the life of the operation based on the method based on the kinetic theory of strength of solids. A method for predicting the durability of products made from composite materials based on wood and an accelerated method for determining thermoactivation parameters has been developed. The thermoactivation parameters were determined for wood-fiber boards of average density 10 mm, 16, 19 mm without coating, painted with veneered linen and linen, and the dependence of thermoactivating parameters depending on the type of protective and decorative coating was determined. It has been established that moisture reduces the durability of products from MDF boards and suggests and determines the parameters allowing to calculate durability under non-stationary conditions of operation. The influence of natural aging of the binding agent on the durability of furniture products made of MDF boards is determined. Estimated economic effect from the use of glued natural veneer of falselayered MDF boards for the manufacture of kitchen worktops. Compared to a laminated chipboard, it is 659 UAH/m long due to longer service life, and with a furniture shield – 2426 UAH/m long due to lower cost and minimum additional operating costs.
