The thesis is devoted to the complex research of information as an object of civil legal relations in the field of health care and to clarification of its legal nature and essence as well. In the context of medical reform, the whole range of issues of the health care services has become very relevant, especially in the aspect of information that affects the exercise of a large number of rights foreseen, in particular, by the Civil Code of Ukraine. The research reveals the structure of information in the field of health care, which covers the public-law and private-law components. The architectonics of the “information related to the provision of medical assistance” concept has been formulated. The important role of information in the field of health care has been emphasized, because it accompanies all relationships in the named field: in the form of informed voluntary consent to medical intervention, informing about the possibility of treatment on the basis of new clinical protocols, about the possibility of participation in clinical trials.
