Essay

The object of study - technology and equipment for rolling I-profiles. The purpose of the work is to expand the assortment and improve the accuracy of rolling of I-profiles by improving the calibrations of the rolls, technological modes of operation and design parameters of cassettes with non-drive vertical rolls of clean cages of rolling mills. Research methods - finite element method, physical modeling method, coordinate grid method for determining the deformed state of the workpiece, the method of direct estimation in the determination of geometrical parameters and temperatures in the study of the accuracy of rolling two-Taurus. Theoretical and practical results - based on the established patterns of metal change in rough enclosed beam calibers developed methods and software for the automated design of rolling and calibration technology for rollers to produce I-beams, which can improve the quality of finished I-beams, based on mathematical models deformation modes of rolling in rough beam calibers, providing the widening of the assortment and improving the accuracy of okatky hot rolled beams and competitiveness of high-grade classes. Novelty - based on theoretical studies, it is established for draft closed beam calibers with the ratio of wall thickness to roll height in the range from 0.2 to 0.4 regularities of height deformation of shelves and flanges, depending on the values of wall compression, lateral compression of flanges and wall width and determined quantitative estimation of limit parameters of rolling of I-profiles in the specified calibers; On the basis of the results of the stress-strain state analysis of cartridge elements with irreducible vertical rolls of the clear cage, the dependences of the elastic deformation of the cassette on the deformation forces were taken into account, taking into account the mutual influence of the cassette parts colliding during the work of the roll assembly, which made it possible to predict the shear thickness of the shelves. Implementation - new solutions for the improvement of the technology of rolling of double-Taurus and the design of cartridges with non-driven vertical rolls, have been tested and adopted for introduction into production. Scope - metal processing by pressure, hot rolling of I-beams.
