Gurzhiy T. The Improvement of State Policy on Household Finance

The object of study is the process of functioning and development of household finances. The purpose of the work is to substantiate theoretical provisions and applied scientific recommendations for improving public policy on household finances in the face of social, political and economic instability. Research methods: methods of scientific abstraction; system method; methods of analysis and synthesis, comparison, correlation-regression analysis; the method of analysis of elasticity, abstract-logical method; graphical and tabular methods. The scientific novelty lies in the systematization, development and refinement of theoretical and methodological foundations of public policy on household finances through the prism of relations between the latter and the institutional sectors of the economy. Improved: an approach to the study of household finances based on defining their relations with institutional sectors of the economy; a methodological approach to the analysis and assessment of household finances in terms of relations with institutional sectors of the economy; scientific approach to household financial policy with financial corporations; a scientific approach to integrated household financial policy with non-financial corporations and the public sector. There was further development: interpretation of the content of the concept of "financial resources of households"; system of elements of the mechanism of the state regulatory policy regarding household finances; conceptual provisions of state policy on household finances in Ukraine.
