Essay

Object – the process of sounding of the atmosphere by acoustic waves. Aim – to improve the methods of adaptive suppression of active and passive acoustic interference in the systems of acoustic sounding of the atmosphere, which allow to increase the efficiency of their functioning in conditions of transient interference. Subject – adaptive linear prediction filters for suppressing non-stationary acoustic interference in sodars. Methods – the theories of linear systems, difference linear equations, statistical modeling, applied analysis of random processes, numerical methods of analysis, statistical theory of radio systems. Results -new autoregressive models of generating complex random signals with given spectral characteristics, which differ from previously used models based on difference equations with higher accuracy of reproduction of given signal characteristics, versatility, stationarity, are proposed. The method of protection against interference with the systems of acoustic sounding of the atmosphere on the basis of adaptive filters of linear prediction is improved, which differs with the adaptive choice of the frequency of the sounding signal by analyzing the spectrum of powerful acoustic interference and the reasonable use of algorithms for their adaptation. The technique of experimental study of the efficiency of acoustic interference suppression by adaptive lattice filters with interference channel has been improved, which differs taking into account the existing characteristics of the main and interference channels. The algorithm of joint processing and interpretation of sounding results in the system from acoustic and radioacoustic locators is developed. Implementation – in scientific research activities at NURE (Kharkiv). Application – development of acoustic sensing systems of the atmosphere.
