The dissertation research is devoted at increasing the effectiveness of complex rehabilitation treatment of patients with multifocal atherosclerosis, liquidators of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant by means of physical factors. Was monitored 155 sick men over the age of 50 with multifocal atherosclerosis (MFA) with the duration of illnesses more than 10 years old who were in different departments of the in-patient department. All of them have a connection with the Chernobyl accident disaster recovery and disability of the 2nd group. MFA was presented as diagnosed with dyscirculatory encephalopathy (DEP), hypertonic disease (HD), ischemic heart disease (IHD), atherosclerosis of the lower arteries limbs (ALAL). Modern methods of research were used: clinical, anamnestic, laboratory (general clinical and biochemical tests of blood and urine, determination of thyroid hormones in blood), instrumental (radiography, electrocardiography (ECG), Holter monitoring ECG and blood pressure monitoring, echocardiography, duplex ultrasound scan of cerebral and peripheral arteries, ultrasound thyroid test and internal rhaniv) review physician, cardiologist, surgeon and narrow specialists, statistic. The therapeutic method was to carry out daily for 8-10 days: the first procedure in the wilted actions of sinusoidal modulated currents on the cervical collateral zone area for 15 minutes; the next procedure for cytocholine inhalations solution for parenteral administration at a dose of 1000 mg (4 ml to 250 mg/l) for 10-15 minutes (patent № 119918); after 2-3 hours – turpentine foot bath t 37-38 for 10 minutes, using 50 ml of "white turpentine emulsion" for A S. Zalmanov (2003). The results of the treatment of patients with MFA, liquidators of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, testify that the use of physical factors with the background of medical therapy increased the effectiveness of restorative treatment of patients, improving the clinical course of dyscirculatory encephalopathy, hypertonic disease, ischemic heart disease, atherosclerosis of the lower arteries limbs; improving the state of cerebral, central and peripheral hemodynamics: 25% in the greater number of patients in the main group compared with the control group, reducing the level of vascular resistance and signs of asymmetry in the general, external, internal carotid and vertebral arteries (p<0,001), by 11% more significantly decreasing the average daily diastolic blood pressure, 16,.7% – the severity of tachycardia (p<0.01), by 13% in the larger number of persons in the main group compared with the control, increasing the mean values of the linear velocity of the circulatory system in the hinder arteries (p<0,05), by 17,7% more significantly increasing the mean values of the idiopathic index; 10% more significantly improving the tolerability of physical activity, prevents progression of diseases: by 11% reducing the number of patients requiring hospitalization 2 times a year (p<0,05) by 15% reducing the number of patients with moderate degree of cognitive impairment (p<0,05), improving their quality of life according to MLHFQ.
