Nestoriak Y. Environmental and Economic Assessment of Reproduction of Forests Biodiversity

The thesis paper deals with theoretical and methodological foundations of environmental and economic assessment of forests biodiversity reproduction; in particular the essence, components and functions of forests biodiversity, as well as methodical approaches to environmental and economic assessment of reproduction of forests biodiversity have been disclosed. The reproduction and effectiveness of forests biodiversity in Ukraine has been evaluated, namely: the main trends of financial and investment support for reproduction and conservation of biodiversity in general and the software for the conservation and protection of biodiversity of forests have been analysed, and the effectiveness of the use of the floral component of forest biodiversity has been evaluated. The promising ways to improve the environmental and economic assessment and institutional environment of reproduction of forests biodiversity have been proposed on the basis of elaboration of the concept of environmental and economic assessment of integral value of reproduction of forests biodiversity, formation of institutional prerequisites for increasing the forest vegetation potential on disturbed lands of forest fund, creation of a modern system for stimulating the transfer of renaturalized agricultural lands into forestry lands in order to extend the territorial basis of reproduction and upgrading of flora and fauna resources.
