Essay

Dissertation is a comprehensive study aimed at substantiating the theoretical and methodological foundations of individualized pedagogical control of students' adaptation to physical loads as the main means of improving the organization of the educational process in physical education in higher educational institutions. The paper presents a new solution to the scientific and applied problem of developing individualized pedagogical control in the classroom for physical education by determining person’s adaptation to physical loads. The research of individual peculiarities of students' psychophysical state is carried out using the following selected criteria: body mass index; Pignet index; strength index; run speed; coordination; dynamic strength; power endurance; high power; flexibility; duration of latent period of complex visual-motor reaction; level of sensorimotor excitation; sensorimotor accuracy level; the speed of a leading hand; coefficient of functional asymmetry; activity of thinking; potential of cardiorespiratory system. The results of the correlation and factor analysis showed a high level of interconnections between the indicators that assess the physical and psycho-physiological state of the students and allowed to establish the importance of the significant contribution of the following factors that determine the adaptation of the individual to physical activity: «motor», «sensorimotor», «somatic» and «exciting». The work presents the author’s proposed method for determining the degree of students’ adaptation to physical loads, and the obtained evidence base confirming the effectiveness of its use in the context of implementing individualized pedagogical control in physical education classes. The developed method for determining the degree of students’ adaptation to physical load has a real prospect of introduction into the educational process since it is the complex and individual pedagogical control which takes into account the peculiarities of the person’s physical and psychophysiological state that is valid and most appropriate for improving the organization of physical education classes. Key words: individualization, students, pedagogical control, methodology.
