CHUIEVA-PAVLOVSKA T. Prediction and prevention of complications of labor in women with endometrioid disease

The thesis presents a theoretical substantiation and a new solution to the actual scientific problem of modern obstetrics and gynaecology – to reduce the incidence of obstetric complications in women operated on the endometrioid disease preconceptionally. On the basis of retrospective evaluation of the pregnancy and labor records in women, preconceptionally operated on the endometrioid disease, prospective determination of the functional activity of the ovarian-chorionic-placental complex, cytokine expression, features of psycho-emotional state and presence of adaptation disorder, determination of correleation relationaship of state and trait anxiety with cytokine production, identification of adaptation features, psychological component of gestational dominant, vegetative dysfunction and quality of life in pregnant women, the therapeutic and prophylactic treatment methods for managing pregnant women was developed, the use of which 2.54 times reduces the number of cases of the threat of miscarriage (OR 0.30 [0.12–0.71]), the threat of premature birth – 4.93 times (OR 0.18 [0.04–0.90]), placental dysfunction – 2.68 times (OR 0.15 [0.06–0.42]), fetal distress – 2.12 times (OR 0.24 [0.08–0.74]); сesarean section – 1.73 times (OR 0.40 [0.17–0.94]), birth of a small for gestational age foetus – by 5.88% (p<0.04).
