Object of the study: process of forming an organizational and economic mechanism for managing family business enterprises; the purpose of the research: development of theoretical and methodological provisions and practical recommendations on the formation of organizational and economic mechanism for managing family business enterprises; research methods and equipment: methods of theoretical generalization and morphological analysis, analysis and synthesis, SWOT-analysis, taxonomic analysis method, methods of assessment of degree of risk, methods of extrapolation, elements of system, structural-functional and comparative analysis, structural-logical analysis, graphical method; theoretical and practical results: the approach to the estimation of stability of family business enterprises is improved, which is based on the systematization of stages of assessment of components of stability of family business enterprises by measuring the development goals (business stability and family-sustainability), the properties of their elements and cause and effect relationships for forming organizational, economic management mechanism; a scientific and practical approach to risk management of family business enterprises is proposed, which is based on the complex application of economic and mathematical models with the purpose of localization and neutralization of negative consequences of risks, taking into account the economic interests of the enterprise and its potential opportunities; the scientific and methodological approach to the development of organizational and economic mechanism of management of family business enterprises is substantiated, the difference of which consists in the systematic combination of elements that influence the economic and organizational parameters of the system of management of family business enterprises; the strategy of formation of organizational and economic mechanism of management of family business enterprises has been developed, the essence of which is to identify the potential of internal resources of the family business enterprise, factors of influence of the external environment, setting goals and objectives of activities taking into account the organizational and economic mechanism; the theoretical basis of the research is specified by supplementing and establishing logical connections between the basic concepts through clarification of their essence, namely: "mechanism", "organizational mechanism", "economic mechanism", "organizational and economic mechanism", "management mechanism", " organizational and economic mechanism of management of family business enterprises "; methodological aspects of the activity of family business enterprises are distinguished, which include the scientific-theoretical and practical substantiation of the key tools for researching the nature of the change in the effective indicator of the firm's stability; degree of implementation: developments implemented in the practical activities of Department of Enterprise Development and Regulatory Policy of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Department of Social and Youth Policy of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, Department of Economics and Investments of Vinnytsia City Council, Peasant (Farm) economy "Yunist", Ltd.
