Ivashchuk V. Hypertension in the practice of a family doctor: Early diagnosis of heart disease and treatment.

The dissertation is dedicated to optimization of treatment of patients with hypertensive disease stage I-II, depending on the early manifestations of violations of the deformation properties of the left ventricular myocardium. It is proved that the use of modern methods of cardiac imaging contributes to the early diagnosis of heart damage in this category of patients. The study of systolic and diastolic function taking into account the indicators of myocardial deformation, rotation, twisting and spinning of the LV is a new approach to assessing the functional state of the heart in patients with hypertension. It was established that the study of these indicators contributes to an earlier identification of functional changes in the myocardium, provides objective information on the interaction of the left ventricle (LV) and left atrium (LA), and the effectiveness of drug correction of detected disorders. For the first time, stratification of the lesion of the left chambers was substantiated and developed using speckle-tracking echocardiography in patients with hypertension diagnosed at the primary health care level.
