The object of the research is professional training of future specialists in economics; the subject of the research is formation of intercultural discourse competence of future specialists in economics in the process of studying humanitarian disciplines; the aim of the research is to develop and verify experimentally the structural-functional model of forming intercultural discourse competence; the methods of the research are theoretical, empirical, statistical; the scientific novelty - the structural-functional model of forming intercultural discourse competence of future specialists in economics while studying humanitarian disciplines; the pedagogical system of forming intercultural discourse competence and its components (subjects, goals, principles, contents, methods, forms, means of learning activity) that reflect the peculiarity of professional activity of future economists.
