An important scientific and practical problem in the field of civil protection is solved in the dissertation - a mathematical model of emergency prevention caused by man-made emissions into the atmosphere of hazardous light gaseous chemicals is developed, and the methods created on its basis are improved. For the first time has been developed a mathematical model of emergency prevention due to man-made emissions of hazardous light gaseous substances, which has the form of a system of three analytical dependencies, the first of which allows to calculate the maximum possible boundaries of hazardous zones at infinite time in the propagation of a hazardous chemical substance as a result of man-made emissions; the second allows to calculate (specify) the boundaries of hazardous zones after the end of emissions (finite in time, long-term emissions); the third allows to calculate (clarify) changes of the boundaries of hazardous zones formed in the case of short-term emissions. For the first time, has been developed a hardware and software complex that implements a mathematical model of emergency prevention caused by man-made emissions into the atmosphere of dangerous light gaseous substances. For the first time, the existing technique for evacuation of people from hazardous areas with man-made emissions into the atmosphere of dangerous light gaseous substances was improved due to the use of the developed hardware and software complex.
