Lievtierov O. Engineering and technical methods for preventing emergency situations as a result of the fire at potentially hazardous facilities

The dissertation developed engineering and technical methods for preventing emergencies as a result of a fire at potentially dangerous facilities in the interests of not spreading them and escalating to more significant levels. Mathematical models have been developed for identifying acoustic images of the danger of the spread of an emergency due to a fire inside and outside a potentially dangerous object. The results of the validation of the developed mathematical models and engineering methods are presented. Two laboratory facilities are described for reproducing a physical model for preventing emergency situations as a result of a fire inside and outside a potentially hazardous object. The results of the experiments are in confidence intervals calculated by the Student criterion with a reliability of 0.95, which confirms the reliability of the developed mathematical models and engineering methods. Suggestions are given for using the developed engineering methods to prevent emergency situations due to fire both inside and outside the facilities.
