Nerian S. The argumentative discourse of Ukrainian Internet communication in social networks: a linguopragmatic aspect

The thesis studies linguopragmatic parameters of the Ukrainian argumentative discourse presented in social networks. It substantiates the concepts of argumentative and network discourses and characterizes their interaction. Argumentative discourse is interpreted as a communicative event that actualizes the communicative intention of persuading and proving one's position through verbal and non-verbal means. Social networks have been singled out as a specific communication area requiring a thorough linguistic study, in particular in the aspect of linguistic argumentation. The main speech genres of communication on social networks are defined as a post and a comment.
