Badiul V. Functional-semantic potential of phraseological units in Ukrainian women's prose of the early XXI century: linguoculturological aspect

The thesis focuses on the study of functional-semantic and linguoculturological potential of phraseological units in Ukrainian early XXI century women 's prose. The research substantiates the methodology of phraseologisms linguoculturological analysis and reveals the key link in the cultural interpretation of a phraseological unit - the correlation of its word-components with the codes of culture, that "generates" phraseologism cultural connotation shaping its role as a sign of culture. The work also typifies basic culture codes and subcodes hierarchical structure of phraseological units in Ukrainian early XXI century women's prose, explains inter-code transitions and determines functional significance of structural-semantic transformations in phraseological units in contemporary Ukrainian women's prose.
