Kovalchuk N. Varvara Cherednichenko’s prose: ideological and thematic paradigm and genre-style modifications.

In the thesis, problem-themed dominants and genre-style modifications of Varvara Cherednichenko’s prose are conceptualized in complex and systemically analyzed in the context of the literary process of the 1920s – 1940s. Small prose is selected as the object of the research, printed on the pages of periodicals and individual editions, the stories and novels. It also covers a wide publicistic material, dramatic works, literary and critical articles, translations, which in their integration essence reflect the artistic world and ideological guidelines of the writer. The work consists of introduction, four chapters, divided into units, conclusions, list of references and appendices. The coordinates of V. Cherednichenko’s creative searches are determined, the dynamics of its self-development and the specifics of artistic thinking are indicated in the first chapter of the thesis. The main directions of the assimilation of V. Cherednichenko’s prose in literary studies have been established and views on the nature of creativity and features of artistic thinking have been systematized.
