The theoretical foundations of innovation and investment potential in the economic system have been deepened. The methodological principles of managing innovation and investment potential are generalized. The modern aspects of the formation of innovation and investment potential of the industrial sector of the national economy are identified. The management of innovation-investment potential of the machine-building industry of Ukraine is analyzed. Methodical approaches to the evaluation of the management and innovation potential of the engineering industry have been adapted. The strategy of formation and utilization of innovative-investment potential of machine-building industry of Ukraine is substantiated. The organizational and functional support of the management of the innovation and investment potential of the machine-building industry of Ukraine has been improved.
