Essay

The thesis deals with the theoretical framework of information and analytical provision of economic security of industrial enterprises’ international economic activity. It studies the existing scientific and methodical approaches to interpreting the concept of «information and analytical provision of economic security of the enterprise’s international economic activity» and proposes the author’s interpretation of this concept. It establishes that the basis for making any management decision, in particular in the field of economic security at the enterprise, is information and analytical provision. Based on the analysis of relevant scientific sources, the thesis clarifies how the main components of information and analytical provision of economic security of the enterprise’s international economic activity can be adapted. It determines that the adaptation to the rapidly changing parameters of the external environment is an effective tool for ensuring the economic security of enterprises’ international economic activity. The thesis analyzes the conditions and trends in the international economic activity of Ukrainian enterprises and the conditions of information and analytical provision of economic security of industrial enterprises’ international economic activity. It explores the existing scientific and methodical approaches to evaluating the level of economic security at the enterprises. It presents the author’s scientific and methodical approach to a comprehensive assessment of economic security of enterprises’ international economic activity. The thesis also proposes the author’s methodology for evaluating the level of economic security of enterprises’ international economic activity, which includes the evaluation based on the criteria for maximizing the marginal profit from international economic activity and minimizing the share of imports in the total amount of enterprise revenue. The thesis presents the author’s scientific and methodical approach to improving the toolset of information and analytical provision of economic security of industrial enterprises’ international economic activity. It justifies the author’s model for optimizing the interaction between the enterprise and its international partners based on risk minimization. Besides, the thesis suggests the author’s information and analytical toolset of interaction between the enterprise and customs authorities, which involves developing the scientific and methodical approach to analyzing and monitoring customs-related risks by the participants in international economic activity with the further development of preventive actions within each risk group. This allows avoiding unnecessary losses and reputation risks when conducting international economic activity and customs registration of goods. The thesis shows how the author has improved information and analytical provision of economic security of enterprises’ international economic activity in the context of implementing post-clearance audit.
