The points of view regarding the legal nature of sports law and its categories are analyzed, the specifics and characteristics of legal relations in the field of sports are clarified. The conclusion is made about the heterogeneity of such relations in the specified sphere. The place of sports law in the system of law of Ukraine is established, the circle of its subjects and objects are defined in terms of protection of intellectual property rights.
