The conclusion is made about the nonlinear nature of the institutionalization of public representation in the Ukrainian state-forming tradition, the points of discretion (interruption) of which were: incompleteness of transformation of the private-public representation of the Rus era into a representative office due to incorporation of Rus into the composition of foreign states; termination of public representation of Ukrainian states and Ukrainian lands in representative bodies of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania due to the transfer of Ukrainian lands to Polish Crown authority as a result of the Union of Lublin
