Essay

Object – queue management processes on the interfaces of telecommunication network routers. Purpose – improving the Quality of Service of the flows of users by the development and improvement of mathematical models and methods of active queue management and bandwidth of interfaces of telecommunication network routers. The subject of research – models, and methods of active queue management and bandwidth of interfaces of telecommunication network routers. Methods of research – optimization methods of mathematical programming; queuing theory; the theory of differential equations; methods of simulation modeling; methods of a laboratory experiment. Results – the method of the balanced queue management on the interfaces of telecommunication network routers has been improved; the method of active queue management and bandwidth of interfaces in telecommunication networks has been proposed for the first time; the dynamic model of queue management and bandwidth of the interfaces on telecommunication network routers has been improved. Implementation – in the educational process of the Department of Infocommunication Engineering V.V. Popovsky in Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics in a lecture course and practical classes on discipline «Switching and Information Distribution Systems, Part 2»; in research works: scientific research work № 299-1 (SR №0115U002432) «Increasing the scalability of technological solutions to provide Quality of Service in convergent telecommunication systems»; into the activity of the enterprise LLC WORKNEST; into the activity of the enterprise private joint-stock company FARLEP-INVEST. The patent for a utility model has been obtained. The field of use is telecommunication systems and networks.
