Pylypenko Y. Improving the efficiency of cargo traffic management in international transport corri-dors

The dissertation research is devoted to the solution of the important scientific and practical problem of development of theoretical bases and practical methods of optimal routing of cargo transportation in international transport corridors on the ex-ample of the organization of complex transportation of cargoes by road, rail and wa-ter modes of transport. For the first time the model of optimization of multimodal freight transportation by routes of international transport corridors is developed, which, unlike the existing ones, takes into account the presence of restrictions on the capacity of transport hubs and communications, on the imbalance of the volumes of transportation, on the inter-action of different types of transport in the performance of complex transportation. On the basis of this model a software-tool complex for optimization of freight transportation by routes of international transport corridors was developed. Instru-mental database of the transport system of Ukraine and Western Europe has been de-signed and completed. The simplex method of finding optimal plans of cargo transportation in interna-tional transport corridors, implemented in Delphi software environment, has been improved. The results of the scientific researches were introduced into the work of auto en-terprises of the Association of International Road Transport of Ukraine and are used in the educational process of the National Transport University in training specialists for the transport industry of the country.
