Repilevska O. Socio-economic development of agricultural service cooperatives

The dissertation defines the essence of agricultural service cooperatives and their relationship with rural entities; sociologization of the content and development of agricultural service cooperatives is substantiated; methodological foundations for assessing the level of organizational, economic and financial stability of cooperatives as system entities have been developed. The typology, specialization of agricultural service cooperatives and their place in the structure of agribusiness and rural development are analyzed; assessment of marketing strategies for the development of agricultural service cooperatives; the peculiarities of the social environment of functioning of agricultural service cooperatives are determined. The dissertation elaborates innovative and investment tools for ensuring socio-economic efficiency and financial sustainability of agricultural service cooperatives; Organizational-economic and motivational mechanisms of socio-economic development of agricultural service cooperatives are substantiated; directions of improvement of inter-economic relations and strengthening of sociologization of development of agricultural service cooperatives are defined. The conceptual principles of strengthening the social component in the activities of agricultural service cooperatives as such, which focuses on the issues of innovation and knowledge implementation, personal growth of participants, cooperation and mutual assistance, are substantiated. The definitions of "agricultural service cooperative" are defined, which, in addition to the traditional interpretation as a non-profit organization, are expanded by the components "social association of independent owners", "form of guaranteed self-sufficiency of services of participants", "economic potential of cooperation". The efficiency and tendencies of the development of agricultural servicing cooperatives were identified through establishing the level of observance of the cooperative principles of activity; evaluation of the actions of competitors - intermediaries; performance metrics. The innovative-investment instruments of socio-economic development of agricultural servicing cooperatives in the form of innovation-investment and investment projects are outlined; public funds and private sources of funding; preferential lending; private-public partnership.
