The dissertation is devoted to the actual problem of the formation of the readiness in the prospective elementary school teachers for interpersonal interaction in situations of conflict between children and parents. A categorical analysis of the concepts of the research is carried out. The peculiarities, causes and areas of the conflict interaction between elementary school children and parents are determined. The possibilities of using methodological approaches to solving research problems are outlined. The structure, criteria, indicators, levels of prospective teachers’ readiness are characterized. The pedagogical conditions are substantiated as well as a model of formation of readiness in the prospective elementary school teachers for interpersonal interaction in situations of conflict between children and parents is developed. Their effectiveness have been experimentally verified. The results of the research are implemented in the practice of higher educational institutions.
