Turetska Y. Constitutional procedural refugee status as a type of legal status of a foreigner

The dissertation deals with a comprehensive research of refugee status as a special status other than that of a citizen, foreign citizen, stateless person, internally displaced person or internally displaced person. The constitutional guarantees of the rights and freedoms of refugees are substantiated as conditions and means stipulated by the constitutional norms aimed at ensuring the effective realization of the rights and freedoms of refugees, comprehensive protection of such rights against possible violations as well as the benefits underlying such rights and freedoms. Particular attention is paid to the content analysis of the concept of subsidiary protection on the example of foreign countries. Тhe definition of the concept of «constitutional guarantees of the rights and freedoms of refugees» is justified as the conditions and means aimed at ensuring the effective realization of the rights and freedoms of refugees, the full protection of such rights from possible violations, and the enjoyment of the benefits underlying such rights and freedoms.
