KHRUNYK A. Application of parenchyma preserving operations in patients with chronic pancreatitis with duct hypertension

161 patients with chronic pancreatitis with ductal hypertension were examined. Scientific provisions have been developed that, in the aggregate, have allowed generalizing and identifying new ways of solving the urgent problem of surgical treatment of patients with chronic pancreatitis with ductal hypertension. Indications for endoscopic transpapillary interventions are formulated. For the first time, a comparative analysis of their effect on pancreatic functional parameters and trophological insufficiency was performed on the basis of studying the quality of life of patients in the long term after surgery. Postoperative mortality was 1.9% (3 of 161 patients died). Functional results in patients after drainage and resection-drainage surgery were best.
