Krentsiv Y. Estimation and creation of the source material for the breeding of soybeans on the productivity and quality of seeds in the conditions of the Northern Steppe of Ukraine

The object of research is the morpho-biological features, patterns of variability, inheritance and manifestation of the basic economic-valuable features of the collecting specimens and hybrid combinations of soybeans. The aim of the dissertation was to study the manifestation of the main economic-valuable features of soybean collections for their plasticity and stability in the northern steppe of Ukraine, to create new source material and to optimize methods of genotype selection in F2 hybrid populations with high productivity, maturity and maturity. Research methods - field, laboratory, mathematical-statistical, calculation and comparative. The research identified samples that consistently reproduce the high level of the complex of basic economic characteristics in different years. The hybrid material created and the selected lines are included in the selection process of the laboratory of breeding and seed production of grain and industrial crops of the Institute of AAs a result of the breeding work, new high-yielding varieties of soybean Zlatoslav and Fairy were created, which have been entered in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2018. Two new varieties of soybean Zlatopilsk and Kamey have been submitted for qualification examination in the system of state variety testing. Scientific novelty - for the first time in the conditions of the northern Steppe of Ukraine a comprehensive assessment of the gene pool of soybeans of different ecological and geographical origin was carried out and the ecological plasticity and stability of economic and valuable features of the collecting specimens were determined by the duration of the growing season and individual phases of development.griculture of the Steppe NAAS.
