Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the theoretical substantiation and experimental verification of professional formation in the proficiency training process of the future aviation industry managers. The generalization and systematization of scientific sources made it possible to interpret the key definition “professional formation of future managers of the aviation industry” as a process of self-development of specialists aimed at acquiring the necessary professional qualities, skills and abilities, as a result of the personal activity of future managers of the aviation industry, the action of certain social influences and psychological and pedagogical accompaniment in the process of training. The structural composition of professional formation as a unity of components and the corresponding criteria is determined (the stimulating component; the personal component; the cognitive component; the praxeological component). Separate and substantiated pedagogical conditions (formation of cognitive interest and professional motivation as a process of approval of professional orientations of future aviation industry managers; constant updating of the content of professional training, use of interactive training methods during the professional training of future aviation industry managers; stimulation of professional education and self-improvement of future managers of aviation industry) are the core of the future aviation industry managers' professional formation model, which functions due to the unity of its components. The model consists of three interrelated stages, namely: organizational, substantive, procedural and evaluative. The diagnostic tool for measuring the levels of future aviation industry managers' professional formation is offered.
