Dziman H. Development of the English language competence in academic writing in the future officers majoring in information technologies.

The thesis deals with theoretical justification, development, and experimental verification of the methodology aimed at developing the English language competence in academic writing in the future officers majoring in information technologies based on blended learning. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is shown in the following statements: 1) devised methodology aimed at development of the English language competence in academic writing in the future officers majoring in information technologies based on blended learning implementation via Google Classroom cloud service; 2) newly designed exercise subsystem and the learning process organization model; 3) improved educational content for development of the English language competence in academic writing in the future officers majoring in information technologies; 4) procedure of lexical, grammatical, and textual material selection underwent its further development; 5) specified criteria and parameters of the English language academic texts (scientific article and abstract) evaluation.
