The dissertation is devoted to the deepening of theoretical provisions and development of scientific and methodological and practical recommendations for the formation of an adaptive system of quality management of products of food industry. The genesis of the basic idea of quality and the impact of the quality management system on the end results of the enterprise are investigated. Foreign and domestic experience of standardized quality management systems in the world and in Ukraine is investigated. Theoretical and methodological principles of providing adaptation functions in the formation of product quality management systems in the context of integration processes have been developed. The current state of food enterprises economic activity and trends of their development in the context of product quality assurance are analyzed. The features of practical adaptation of product quality management system of food enterprises to changes in the competitive environment are determined. The efficiency of product quality management systems is evaluated (on the example of food enterprises of the Khmelnytsky region).The scientific and methodological approach to the effective functioning of the product quality management system are substantiated. The mechanism of functioning of adaptive product quality management system of the bakery enterprises is developed. The information support of the product quality management system of food industry enterprises has been improved.
