15 thousand medical cards of patients treated in the pre-war period of 2006-2013 and 3.5 thousand medical cards during the war period of 2014-2016 in the departments of Lisichansk Oblast Psychiatric Hospital were analyzed. 136 people (22-50 years) were selected, diagnosed with schizophrenia and manifestations of suicidal behavior. The main group was 71 patients, who conducted the author’s complex therapy and the comparison group - 65 patients who received therapy according to the standard clinical protocol. Each of the study groups was gender-disaggregated. Psycho-pharmacotherapeutic and psychotherapeutic targets, were clinically defined, taking into account gender, course of disease, clinical and anamnestic data, etc. It was revealed that suicidal activity increased as a result of combat actions, which led to an increase in the number of patients with acute and transient psychotic disorders. The deterioration of living conditions of patients has led to an increase in their suicidal activity. The quality of diagnostics of disorders among suicides has increased. The obtained data indicate that the transition from a peaceful life to life in the ATO level off the role of many circumstances relevant to the suicidal activity of peacetime. Comprehensive measures of psychopharmacotherapy and psychotherapy were used. Patients received antipsychotic and antidepressant drug therapy, psychotherapeutic care and psycho-educational activities as the basic ones. Also psycho-educational classes were held by relatives of patients.
