The thesis presents the solution of the scientific problem on increasing the yield of Panicum Virgatum by establishing optimal technological methods of its cultivation. The features of the switchgrass dry biomass yield formation according to the varietal composition, growing conditions and application, the corresponding scientifically-based elements of the growing technology are established. We researched and established the optimal technological methods for switchgrass of the first to fourth year growing providing maximum indicators of plant height, the number of stems per 1 m² and ensure the highest yield of switchgrass dry biomass.
