Tymoshenko T. Public administration of tourism development on the basis of public-private partnership

The dissertation is dedicated to the theoretical and methodological substantiation of the principles of the public-private partnership (PPP) mechanism introduction into the management of the tourism industry of Ukraine, development of practical recommendations for its improvement, taking into account the possibilities of relevant international practices implementation. The essence of the PPP mechanism and the importance of its using in the management of tourism are revealed. The study provides insights and characterizes functions, principles and forms of interaction of PPP subjects within the limits in tourist activity. Due attention is given to the state and features of this mechanism, the research defines the conceptual understanding of a form of cooperation between government and business agents (public and private partners), giving empirical evidence that highlights the rationale in the field of tourism and providing their improved involvement in this process.
