In the dissertation the actual scientific task is solved, which consists in theoretical and methodological substantiation of peculiarities of the formation and development of the system of prevention of corruption in Ukraine and the development of practical recommendations for improvement of the activity of the authorities in this sphere. The model of optimization of the system of prevention of corruption in Ukraine is proposed, the purpose of which is to protect the socio-economic system of Ukraine from corruption-based influence by constantly monitoring the system of state management for the presence of corruption. In the context of this model, it is suggested to highlight three priority anti-corruption strategies: informing society about the dangers of corruption and its consequences for the socio-economic state of the state; establishment of management in the field of prevention of corruption, improvement of regulatory and legal protection and protection of citizens' rights. The author's vision of the problems that hinder the effective functioning of the system of prevention of corruption in Ukraine is presented. As a result, the directions of optimization of normative-legal, institutional and informational support in the field of combating corruption are proposed. The recommendations on the possibility of introducing a leading municipality have been organized and the national experience in improving the industry in Ukraine.
