Romashov Y. Public administration of staffing for the National Police of Ukraine

The dissertation presents a new solution to the scientific problem of public administration of staffing of the National Police of Ukraine. It is determined that public administration of staffing of the National Police of Ukraine is an administrative activity of special subjects of public administration, which is an expression of the implementation of tasks (functions) of the National Police, which is carried out to satisfy the public interest. It is generalized that the normative-legal regulation of the public administration of the staffing of the National Police in Ukraine is carried out on the basis of different normative-legal acts. The principles of public administration of staffing of the National Police in Ukraine are identified and generalized. It is concluded that the public administration of recruitment, career growth and dismissal of police officers of the National Police of Ukraine is carried out by personnel units, special medical workers and social workers. Specific changes and additions to the current legislation on the selection of persons with an impeccable reputation in the police, the establishment of normative safeguards against the penetration of marginalized persons into the police are proposed. It is proved that there is an urgent need for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to ratify the "Declaration on the Police" (1979)
