Essay

The object of the study is simple contact irritant incontinence associated dermatitis. The aim is to increase the effectiveness of treatment and prevention of dermatitis associated with incontinence by developing the method of external therapy based on the study of clinical data, indicators of evaluation tools and the skin microbiocenosis composition. Methods: general clinical methods, application of evaluation tools IADS, IAD-IT, GLOBIAD, laboratory, microbiological, mathematical and statistical methods. In patients with incontinence dermatitis significant changes in the performance of assessment tools IADS, IAD-IT, GLOBIAD and an increase in the incidence of candidiasis was found. A pathogenetically grounded method of local treatment and prevention of incontinence dermatitis has been developed and implemented using camphor oil, which reduces the frequency of bright erythema by 12.0 times, candidal skin colonization by 3.3 times, severity by 1.5 times and spending 2.5 times. The main thesises of the dissertation are introduced into the work practice of the Municipal Institution "Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary", Vinnytsia Regional Clinical Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary of the Vinnytsia Regional Council, as well as in the educational process of the Department of infectious diseases with epidemiology, skin and venereal diseases of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Department of dermatology, venereology of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, Department of skin and venereal diseases of Vinnytsia National Pirogov Memorial Medical University. Area of use – dermatovenereology.
