Khorosha O. The architecture of the classicist palace and park complexes of Vinnytsia region of the end XVIII – early ХХ centuries

The dissertation analyzes the influence of the classicism style on the main architectural solutions of palace and park complexes in the Vinnytsia region in the context of European influence. The historical preconditions and main factors of formation of classicist palace and park complexes in the region are determined. The generally accepted stages of development of the architecture of the classicist palace and park complexes of the Vinnytsia region from the end of the 18th to the early of the 20th century have been supplemented. Functional zoning and principles of compositional and spatial organization of the territory of classicist palace and park complexes are characterized. The typology of classicist palaces of the region according to functional, planning, compositional, stylistic characteristics is developed. Recommendations for their further preservation, restoration and functional adaptation are given.
