Brychka B. Monetary policy of the NBU in providing stability of the national currency.

The dissertation is devoted to deepening the theoretical and methodological foundations of monetary policy, improving methodological approaches and developing practical recommendations for improving its efficiency in the context of providing the stability of the currency in Ukraine. Theoretical provisions for defining the essence of the concepts "monetary policy", "stability of the national currency", their essential features and characteristics are highlighted, the classification of monetary instruments, as well as factors influencing the stability of the monetary unit are proposed. The role of monetary policy in the processes of providing the stability of the currency is substantiated. The scientific and methodological approach to assessing and analyzing the stability of the currency has been improved, the state and trends in the NBU's use of monetary policy instruments have been analyzed, and the impact of the exchange rate and interest rate channels of the monetary policy transmission mechanism on the stability of the national currency has been studied. The theoretical and methodological approach to the calculation of the generalized indicator of currency instability has been improved. Scientific and practical approaches and recommendations for the implementation of foreign experience in Ukraine in the field of currency stability have been developed, strategic guidelines of monetary policy have been substantiated and practical recommendations for improving the efficiency of monetary policy instruments to ensure stability for the national currency have been developed.
