Essay

The dissertation is devoted to improvement of existing calculation methods of initial reserves of hydrocarbon deposits using the equation of material balance. A new formula was also derived and an improved approach was proposed for the calculation of gas condensate deposits using differential condensation results. A new method of determination of initial hydrocarbon reserves of oil, gas and gas condensate deposits has been developed based on the formation component, which is protected by the patent of Ukraine for the invention. The proposed method uses the principle of constancy of the number of moles of a substance at any given time.
