Essay

The dissertation presents the results of scientific research aimed at improving the methods and means of assessing the state of ecological safety of nature reserves based on the study of sanitary-ecological and microbiological condition of the functional zones of the reserve on the example of national nature park (NNP) "Vyzhnytsky". A conceptual approach to the definition and organization of the main components that determine the level of environmental safety of protected areas in the Carpathian region is proposed. The criteria and indicators of qualitative assessment of the state of the components of the environment of the functional zones of the nature reserve fund (NRF), which differ in the level of anthropogenic impact using a sanitary-microbiological approach, are substantiated. Monitoring studies of the state of the river network, soil cover and atmospheric air were carried out using sanitary-microbiological indicators on the example of the ecotope of NNP "Vyzhnytsky". On this basis, engineering and organizational solutions for the management of environmental safety of NRF facilities have been developed. New approaches to surface water treatment and briquettes from wood waste have been identified. Organizational and managerial solutions are proposed, in particular, for local governments - on the formation of the NNP on the watershed principle, the formation of forests at the expense of native species, taking into account their phytopathological and acid resistance, involvement of scientists in the region and more. The contribution of public ecological organizations to organizational measures aimed at reducing the level of ecological danger for the protected areas of the mountainous region of the Eastern Carpathians is determined. A program of sustainable development of protected areas based on compliance with the principles of environmental safety for the NNP "Vyzhnytsky" and "Cheremosky" has been developed and implemented.
